One of the YES models to facilitate the creation of youth jobs is the R9700 model which makes use of IPs on behalf of Corporate Sponsors. YES IPs provide youth with quality work experiences across multiple industries. IPs are extensively vetted to ensure they can comply with deliverables requested by both the sponsor corporates and YES. This enables us to give youth 12-month quality work experiences, have the administrative oversight and capacity to pay youth monthly, and continue our genuine passion for solving youth unemployment in South Africa.
At present, there are 33 IPs providing youth with quality work experiences across 10 sectors including education, digital, healthcare and conservation and more.
In this recruitment round, YES is seeking new potential IPs in the following industries only:
Expression of Interests open on 11 October 2021 and close on 24 October 2021. Late submissions will not be considered. Expressions will be screened and shortlisted based on their eligibility as per the key criteria outlined below.
Thereafter, shortlisted potential IPs will undergo the standard YES IP vetting process. Successful IPs who comply with all vetting requirements – both financial and non-financial – may be contracted with YES as an implementation partner for a 2-year period (subject to renewal based on compliance and provision of quality work experience for YES Youth).
